Challenge


Keeping track of this type of customer-based service business becomes really challenging when customers keep piling up. Logically, papers and sheets start to pile up too and you find yourself looking for the order in the chaos. 


Also, in the electronics repair industry, there are some timelines that have to be followed, besides the customer data and issue/case logging. Finally, in order to become an authorized service provider for any major brand, you need to have your database in the digital form, with regular data backups and security procedures.

Solution


The custom back-office application we built for Gallo Service delivered the full case logging module, with the notification for the store as well as the customer (when the device was left for reparations, when it will be done, and what has to be done). It included case sorting with all the data you need to finish the work on time and on point. Also, it includes customer-facing parts, such as the QR code to check the status of your device in real time and to get its service history in one place.


The system was built as a web application with a Super Admin login and an Employee login. It offers the statistics, reporting, and dashboard page for a better understanding of workflows, time spent, average repair time, repair success rate, etc., and insight on how to optimize them.

Impact 


Gallo Service immediately saw the upgrade in processes and reduced time for each case, which ultimately led to having more jobs done in a shorter amount of time. This indirectly helped them to become more trustworthy and to bring their business to another level.
